Alexandra District Health delivers a broad range of health care, providing inpatient care for both medical and surgical patients. Day and overnight surgical services are supported by visiting specialist surgeons and specialist anaesthetists. Outpatient services include specialist medical consulting, radiology, ultrasound, pathology, district nursing and a wide range of primary health services including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, speech therapy, counselling and social work.
