Dandenong Hospital

Dandenong Hospital is one of Melbourne's major acute hospitals providing a range of services to the people living in Dandenong and surrounding areas. It is also one of Victoria’s teaching and referral hospitals and is a specialist referral centre for a wide rural and regional catchment. The hospital provides emergency care and also has a comprehensive range of specialist units including an Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Unit and Special Care Nursery. The hospital facilities also include Pharmacy, Theatre, Labour Wards, Speech Therapy and a Day Treatment Centre and primary care services, including Outpatients Alcohol and Drug Liaison, post acute care, community rehabilitation and an after hours GP clinic.  General and emergency dental services are provided for eligible clients at community dental clinics.
