Monash Medical Centre Clayton is one of Melbourne’s major acute public hospitals and provides services to the people living in the southeast of Melbourne. The hospital is a teaching and research facility of international standing providing a comprehensive range of specialist surgical, medical, allied health and mental health services to the community. The centre also provides emergency care and has a range of specialist units including a Cardiac Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The hospital facilities also include pharmacy, occupational therapy, dietetics, radiology and diagnostic imaging facilities, physiotherapy, theatre and labour wards, social work and speech therapy.
