Tender picture

The Department of Health is seeking suitably qualified applicants to be part of a new Health Data Integrity (HDI) and Victorian Admitted Episodes Dataset (VAED) audit panel. Members of the panel will conduct data integrity audits of patient and client data, reported to the department by health services and funded agencies.

The collections include the VAED and Victorian Emergency Minimum Dataset (VEMD), Elective Surgery Information System (ESIS), Victorian Admitted Subacute Care data, Specialist Outpatients Clinics (VINAH) dataset and Victorian Cost Data Collection (VCDC).

The panel will consist of two major categories:

  • Category 1: Delivery of audits of the Victorian Admitted Episodes Dataset (VAED) reported to the Department of Health by Victorian public health services.

  • Category 2: Delivery of data integrity audits of other activity data, reported to the Department of Health by Victorian public health services including the Victorian Emergency Minimum Dataset (VEMD), Elective Surgery Information System (ESIS), Victorian Admitted Subacute Care data, Specialist Outpatients Clinics (VINAH) dataset and Victorian Cost Data Collection (VCDC).

A non-mandatory information session on the tender will be held online tomorrow (Thursday 13 July). Registration to attend the information session will close at 2:00pm Wednesday 12 July (today).
