Nathalia District Hospital is a small rural health service that provides acute care, residential aged care and a range of outpatient and visiting community health services.
The Minister for Health has approved a proposal for the voluntary amalgamation of Nathalia, Cobram and Numurkah health services, to enhance access to local health care for communities. The new organisation ‘NCN Health’ now operates under a combined management and governance structure (effective 1 July 2019).
NCN Health hospitals
West Wimmera Health Service is comprised of six campuses that provide a range of urgent care, acute care, residential aged care and community and home based health services. General and emergency dental services are provided for eligible clients at community dental clinics.
The Nhill campus services include urgent care, acute care, residential aged care and community and home based health services.
North East Community Health Service incorporates the following services: the North Eastern CAT (Crisis assessment and treatment team) Service, North East Mobile Support and Treatment Service, North East Community Mental Health Service, Clinical residential rehabilitation services (Community Care Units), North East Primary Mental Health and Early Intervention Service, Austin Health - Acute Psychiatry Unit and Bunjil House - Secure Extended Care Unit.
Northeast Health Wangaratta services 28 townships beyond the boundaries of the Rural City of Wangaratta and provides an Emergency Department service and a range of healthcare services such as acute, sub-acute, paediatrics, obstetrics, special care neonatal, critical care, dialysis, day stay, oncology, adult psychiatry, aged care, allied health, and a wide range of community-based programs.
Northeast Health Wangaratta hospitals
Northeast Health Wangaratta provides a 24 hour emergency department service and a range of healthcare services such as acute, sub-acute, paediatrics, obstetrics, special care neonatal, critical care, mental health, residential aged care, and a range of allied health and community-based programs. General and emergency dental services are provided for eligible clients at community dental clinics.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne’s rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our four main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre and Craigieburn Centre. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.
Numurkah & District Health Service provides a range of health programs which include urgent care, acute, allied and primary health, and residential aged care services.
The Nyah campus of Swan Hill District Health provides a range of services including acute care, residential aged care, and community based services.
